Next Rated 2015/2016 is Too Close To Call (Find Out Why)

GOOD SONG (LYRICALLY) VS DANCE MATTER! IN NIGERIA
One of the most important factor to consider in nominating artist is that they are placed in the proper categories for award consideration. The point at which is determined whether a recording is pop or R&B, reserved song (good lyrics) or street song. In these day age, dance-able street music like shoki by Lil Kesh is likely to win the heart and soul of the public in Nigeria than relatively non-street music like Katapot by Reekado bank except in a situation where the artist cleverly demonstrated a combination of both characteristics and exceptionally stand out like Woju. In Nigeria music industry, one thing is to be popular in Nigeria and the other is to be popular in Africa (based on music and style). Lil Kesh will be remember for popularizing shoki dance and one of the hottest club/street song of the decade in Nigeria.
People who would vote for next rated artistes may be minor in number behind closed door but major in the game and there are many factors to consider in determining next rated artist such as lyrics, style, potential, fans/followers, consistency, future prospect, general image and popularity etc as well as the interest of the stakeholder ofcourse unless otherwise the decision is solely based on airplay, record sales or download as in MTV Africa strategy (fact kind of way)
I must say however, considering all the relevant factors, 2015/2016 next rated artiste is too close to call.
